Q: How to transfer your Outlook Express address book from PC to Laptop
A: We have done it like this
If you just got a new laptop and opening the email account suddenly you realize that all your
addresses are still on your PC!!! What to do now?To type them one by one would be a very
time consuming job.

In Outlook express click on File then hover the cursor over Export and click on Address book.

Select Text File option and click Export.In the following dialog window specify the path
Where you want to save the address book data file.You can save it directly in your USB
Memory stick.

F:\MyUsb\MyAddressbook.dat
Click Next and select the fields you wish to export
Click Finish and now you have your Outlook express address files on your USB memory
Stick saved under F:\MyUsb\MyAddressbook.dat
Now the next step would be to safely remove your USB memory stick from your PC and
Plug it in to your laptop.
On your laptop open Outlook express click on File and select Import than Other address
Book.In the following dialog box select Text File and click Import.
