Q: How to print from a laptop wirelessly on your MS home network
A: We have done it like this
Many times we have an existing PC already connected to a local printer via USB port and
the PC is also connected to the Internet via wireless ADSL modem/router.And of course there is
a nice laptop already connected to the Internet via wireless card or adaptor.....All we want is just to
be able to print from the laptop wirelessly without puling out wires or messing with the existing setup.
How to do it ?
1/ We have to enable printer sharing  on the existing local printer

Click Start select Printers and faxes (you can go also via control panel)
Right click on your printer icon (in this case Canon iP2200) and select Share this printer.
You can write in a share name and click Apply and OK.
Now your printer will be visible on your MS home network and ready to use.
2/ If you do not have your home network you have to run from Control panel the Network setup
    Wizard on both computers
3/ When your network is ready your shared printer icon will be visible on the laptop.
To find it open Windows explorer click My Network places than MS Home (or whatever is
The name of your local network) Click on the PC name .It should have the Icon of the shared
Printer. Right click on the shared printer icon and select Connect .There will come up a dialog
Box explaining that the drivers for the printer will be automatically installed. Click OK .

Now you can print as normal. If you print a page on laptop send it to your network printer.
