Q: How to see infrared light on your computer screen

A: We have done it like this

Have you ever  wanted to see the infrared light or ever thought if it is possible to see it ? Well here is
your chance just read on.

What we need is a computer (PC or Laptop) with a web camera connected to it.
Activate the screen capture software that you can see the camera working.

Obtain an Infrared remote control from your TV or DVD which one is operational.
(Try it first on your TV or DVD)

Point the remote control directly at the camera lens.On the PC monitor you should see a picture
similar like this

Push any button on remote control and you should see the infrared light coming out of the LED.

 This is very helpful if you have some infrared remote control problems.You can see straight away
If the batteries need replacement or the unit itself has a problem.
